More Aid Provided

We distributed another round of food packages last week to our surrounding communities that were the hardest hit. The generosity has been incredible. After distributing donated material items we were told that clothing is not something they need so we have curbed collecting this item.

This week the Shelter Boxes arrived which are military type tents that can house a family of 10.
They also come with bedding, kitchen utensils, tools, etc. Yesterday we set up all 48 of these in 10 hours in several locations. These tents are known to last at least 6 months. It was surprising to those we provided the tents to that these were tents being given to them and that they do not have to give them back. We are exhausted from these efforts as unfortunately we had very few volunteers who participated in this set up and the task fell to about a dozen of us.We now have a warehouse full of donated items that were received from the States that we will distributed over the next few days as another semi-truck is on its way.
