Hiking Adventures 2022

It's another year to tackle hillsides that I haven't before and revisit those I love.

The first hike of the season was to a granite cliff in Rancho Nacapule. We can't quite make it to the highest point of the cliff so we continue to an arch behind this cliff that we have hiked to before. This time we approached it from a different direction.

We then veer off and get a little further away from the vehicle than we intended. PJ was on alert that he may have to come get us. In the end we make it all the way back to our vehicle and boy are we tired.

There are bike trails across from the Estuary that we have been wanting to see if they are also good hiking trails. And they are, plus look at these views.

There is an entire point area in Guaymas that we haven't checked out. We head out searching for El Carricito. Access is via a rough 4-wheel drive dirt road to a beautiful bay that we'll have to come back to to paddleboard at.

Looking for other hiking opportunities in this area.

We decide the road to get down to the beach is better tackled on foot so we can really check out the terrain.

This memorial was in a rock face of the bay.

The view back of Guaymas harbor from the road.

Back to the bike trails across from the Estuary with Lindy, Christa and Rosalee.

Up to a dry waterfall back behind the Monastery.

The hillsides inside Rancho Nacapule with Lindy. This hillside looks like carved in pictographs.

A Praying Mantis!!!

It was really windy this day.

Alacran and La Poza from Rancho Nacapule with PJ.

Trails behind the Bahia.

My birthday hike behind Buenas Aires. An area we've been to before but haven't hiked much. An hour long 4-wheel drive trek to get to starting point. A lot of bushwhacking with the goal to get to one of the palm oasis's on the hillside. PJ says he won't hike with me again, lol. Found turtle friend.

Two arches that I saw on the last Estuary bike trail hike. Made it up. Was very shaley and steep. Look at these views!
