On Top of the World

Today Shelly, along with 50 other women ranging in ages from 25-80, hiked to the top of the famous peaks that are always in our sunset photos. It took Shelly and her group 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the top. The top was the hardest as it was nearly vertical, rocky, and narrow. It was a very good thing that they wore leather gloves.
As soon as you crested the top this was the view of the Sea of Cortez looking toward Baja.
The views were amazing and you really felt on top of the world. Here is San Carlos. Here is the San Carlos Marina.
Here is our fearless leader Pat. This was her 14th hike up the mountain and she is 80 years old. The rest of us can only hope....It took 1 hour to hike down. We'll see how sore Shelly is tomorrow......
