We Have Arrived

We head to our storage facility in Nogales, AZ and spend 7 hours going through our stuff (the last pack job wasn't very well documented) to determine what we cannot live without for the next few months. We spend the night in the parking lot of the local Walmart. Now we are on our way and we cannot believe it!!! Who knows if we actually have what we want and need or not but we think so. This is exciting, scary, sad, and fun as what lies ahead for us is unknown. The border crossing is easy and fast. We arrive in San Carlos at 6:00 pm on the 17th and it is hot and muggy. We unpack and it feels FANTASTIC!!! WE ARE HOME!!! It no longer feels like we are on vacation but are settling into our lives. We tolerate 83 degrees in the trailer during the night.
It takes us all of the next day to finish unpacking and we are amazed at the amount of living and storage space we have. It is so hot outside that you are dripping with sweat within just a few minutes. 95 degrees with 61 percent humidity. Hunter also wants to stay in the air conditioning. We find an ATM in Guaymas and you can actually withdraw $2 from the machine for one transaction. We are now running errands and completing tasks we need to settle in so we can focus on developing our lot.

The temperature at night only dropped 2 degrees from 10 pm until 6 am the next day. We are making a list of the items left back in storage that we will want. We take our first morning walk at 6:30 am before it gets too hot out. More errands today and more to report on in a little while.....
