Dog Days of Summer
It is strange not being on any kind of a schedule but also very nice. When we begin to wonder what time it is we then ask ourselves why we need to know this and we generally don't have an answer.
Drinking iced coffee in the morning as it is already too hot for a hot beverage. Natural yogurt means sweetened not plain.
We have begun our mission of finding out which bar has the best margarita in town and we are determined so we will find this out. So far the bars Tequilas and Marina Cantina haven't scored so well.
A friend had given us his Mexican cell phone from when he visited here. We visited the Telcel store in Guaymas and for $14 received a new SIM card, telephone number, and prepaid minutes.
Late in the afternoon we were able to sit outside in a breeze coming from the ocean, it was absolutely wonderful. Our skin is still sticky but not dripping sweat. At approximately 10:30 p.m. a chubasco (tropical storm) blew in and we had the most fantastic cloud to cloud lightning, thunder and rain storm. We got 1" of rain in about 2 hours. This was shot from our bedroom window and it is our boat you see parked in the yard. Be patient in the beginning and be sure to turn your volume on as there is sound with this.
