A little frustrating....

Here are a few things we have found frustrating over the past 2 months;
  • living out of suitcases
  • having the personal items with us packed in boxes but who knows which one or where
  • knowing we have an item but not knowing if it is with us or in storage in Arizona
  • not getting regular mail
  • not always having wireless internet connection
  • relying on a mobile GPS system for finding addresses, locations, businesses, etc. and it being incorrect
  • waiting for our trailer (estimated completion of 8-10 weeks and it has now been 14 weeks)
An eye opener for us has been in not having a residential mailing address some companies and service providers will not provide us with their services. For instance, when we decided to open a bank CD at a new institution for us, we were not able to. We had to open the CD at our current institution as they could verify our mailing address was not a residential address and per the Patriot Act this was not permitted.

Coordinating getting all our bills digitally has not been as easy as it may seem. A lot of companies will send digital bills but they also continue to send paper bills. Several send their bill to you on the day it is due rather than giving any notice to arrange payment.

Getting a prescription refilled was a little trying too when PJ's doctor in California insisted on seeing him for a check up. When he advised him we were in Colorado, he was told that we needed to find a doctor here for the refill. In searching for a doctor covered by our insurance plan, 3 out of 4 of the offices called advised that they do not accept this form of insurance (then why were they listed on the insurance company's web site?).

We are getting through all this but didn't think any of these would present themselves as potential problems. We just keep plugging away until we get an answer that is acceptable.
