Colorado July 19 - 28

We are back in the City and are taking long walks with Hunter (he is doing just fine; the leg doesn't seem to bother him and he has been so good in that he hasn't even tried to chew off the bandage) where we see and walk past deer. We bought new dishes for the trailer, went to Boulder and walked the Pearl Street Mall and drank rhubarb infused tequila margaritas - yum!, took scenic drives in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, enjoy the afternoon thunderstorms, and sit for long periods at Shelly's dads Koi pond.We are also getting our fill of Colorado style Mexican food; green chile with actual green chiles in it and not tomatillos and chile rellanos (a whole green chile stuffed with cheese then wrapped in a egg roll wrapper, deep fried and smothered with green chile sauce).

We drove to Cheyenne, WY for Cheyenne Frontier Days to see a huge rodeo event and Blake Shelton and Kelly Pickler in concert.
During the rodeo event it poured rain and it was funny to see the steer wrestling event where the cowboys got drug through the mud almost like they were waterskiing across it.

Hunter got his stitches out on the 28th and he did great. He has the cut bandaged as he does keep licking it and it now needs to scab up to heal. Him and Magen continue to play hard so it must not be bothering him too much.
