PJ & Shelly San Carlos Bound

The utilities are going in on our lot. Our electrical box (mufa) was installed. Our septic tank was constructed. Our 5,000 liter water cistern was laid in the ground. We have been trying to get municipal water to our lot. We set up our account with the water company in early April and were told to return the next day to confirm the account was established. When Shelly returned the next day she asked in Spanish if the account was confirmed and had the office staff reply to her in Spanish that was way too fast for her to fully understand. Basically she was told that a water line is non-existent in our street and that we would have to pay to install this line. This information was to be forthcoming the following week. When Shelly stopped by the office to obtain this information she was told they had no information and that she would be telephoned when they did have information. A few more days passed without any telephone call so Shelly stopped by the office again. This time she was told

This is quite the scare. The Ryndam cruise ship that was coming in to Guaymas this week and the calimari festival have both been cancelled. You see some people wearing masks and most people are staying home and avoiding crowds. Some folks who were planning on going elsewhere for the summer months are departing earlier than planned. Luckily we do not know of anyone in our area who has contracted this. Except....Shelly had the flu at the end of March and we are wondering if she didn't have this? She obtained antibiotics early on but still has a slight cough, who knows.... PJ came back from the States in late March with an ATV so we have been having fun riding this. We have been going out in the boat and one day last week we spotted these fishermen. Their net holes are big enough to allow smaller fish to escape.
